Patricia Heaton Parker, CFP, CEP, CDFA, has been an active member of the Financial Planning Industry for over 20 years. She founded her firm, Discovery Financial to service the needs of clients going through transition. Whether its retirement, marriage, divorce or being widowed, change is difficult. Finding someone to trust, someone who will help you make smart financial decisions is challenging. Ms. Parker has helped hundreds of clients over the years find peace in these turbulent times. Services include Financial Plans and Investment Management services. The initial consultation, either by phone or in person, is free of charge or obligation. It is a time to see whether or not the client and Advisor are a good fit. Any additional services are available by either an hourly fee or a quoted flat fee.Investment Management services are billed as an annual percentage of Assets Under Management (AUM). Our Fee range for Investment Management starts at 1% of Assets under our Management per year. Discounts for Investment Services start at $600,000 for total household account. Financial Planning Services range from $850 for a single planning issue to between $1500-$5500 for a Comprehensive Financial Plan. We believe in helping the communities we serve, and therefore we do not require a minimum account size to work with us.Ms. Parker strongly believes in giving back to her community and her Industry. Ms. Parker is a active member of the OC Financial Planning Association where she serves on the Board of Directors. She is also an active member of NAWBO-OC (National Association of Women Business Owners) and AiP (Advisors in Philanthropy). Ms. Parker is an Instructor at the University of California Irvine Campus (UCI) where she teaches Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits and Investments for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER program.
