Basil Financial Group LLC is a fee-only financial planning firm that specializes in providing holistic financial planning services to individuals and their families.
As a financial professional, my passion is helping people make smart decisions about their money. I created Basil Financial Group to provide comprehensive and unbiased financial planning for individuals and their families. I love what I do because I know it helps my clients have happier relationships and more fulfilling lives.
When we start working together, we will talk about your needs and how you want to lead your life. My goal is to create a comfortable, confidential environment where you feel free to discuss your financial and personal concerns. Based upon that information, I will help you create a financial plan that supports your vision. The plan will be comprehensive and include everything from tax preparation and planning to investment strategies, insurance, and estate and real estate planning.
For all the work we do together, I charge just one annual retainer fee. That means you can meet with or speak to me any time during the year if you have new questions or as your situation or goals change.
I owned my own Chicago-based accounting firm for 13 years before enrolling in Northwestern University's Certified Financial Planner™ program, and I am a Registered Investment Advisor with the State of Illinois. I serve as an elected board member of the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners, a national group of fee-only financial advisors. I am also a registered financial advisor with NAPFA, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
