Clarity Asset Management, Inc. ("Clarity") is a registered investment advisor wtih the SEC, and operates as a fee-only financial planning and investment management team. Clarity was founded in 1998 and merged with Resource Planning Group in 2012. Donald Erickson started Resource Planning Group, Inc. in 1986 with a desire to break away from the traditional approach to financial advising which included earning commissions from selling products. He began with a "fee-only" compensation method to allow for objective financial planning while seeking to alleviate conflicts of interest - and that is how Clarity still operates today.
Our team consists of several people, each with their own area of expertise, who will all contribute to each client's financial planning and investment advisory services. Clarity offers services to individuals, high net worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, and corporations. Most of our clients live in central Iowa and include: Iowa State University Faculty Small Business Owners Widows Medical Professionals
