Corey Scrupps is dedicated to serving the investment and financial needs of his clients through comprehensive financial planning and strategic investment management. He specializes in Retirement and Income Planning, always with a focus on providing a clear, easy explanation of all financial products and services. Corey has worked with both individual and corporate clients in all facets of financial planning, including estate planning and transferring assets tax efficiently.
Corey brings more than 15 years of private investment advisory experience to his wealth management practice. He joined Northeast Planning Associates in 2011, and holds Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations. Corey also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6, 7, and 63 securities registrations through LPL Financial, as well as the Series 66 registration with NPA and LPL, and is a licensed Accident Life & Health Insurance agent. He is a member of Financial Services Institute.
An active member of his community. Corey currently sits on the Board of Directors of The Wish Project, which provides people in need in the Merrimack Valley with basic furniture, home and baby goods, primarily through reusing and recycling. By providing basic goods to people in crisis, The Wish Project helps end needless suffering in the short term, while helping to end homelessness in the long term. He is also member of the Parents Council of Children’s Castle Daycare/Preschool in West Newbury, MA and supports the Newburyport Education Foundation.
Corey graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, ME with a B.A. in Sociology. When not meeting with clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, restoring antique homes, and Crossfit. Corey resides in Newburyport, Massachusetts with his wife Rachael, and their sons AJ and Landon.
