I have over 20 years of practical financial services' experience as a CPA, Investment Advisor and Certified Financial Planner. Together with my team, we act as a personal CFO and help affluent clients address their five biggest concerns: preserving their wealth, mitigating taxes, taking care of their heirs, ensuring their assets are not unjustly taken and charitable giving.
Cornerstone was founded in 1984 and now serves over 300 families and 65 retirement plans who have entrusted over $500 million in assets under advisement. We use a consultative process to gain a detailed understanding of clients' deepest values and goals. We then employ customized recommendations designed to address each client's unique needs and goals beyond simply investments.
I have also refined an expertise in helping companies identify where gaps in their investment fiduciary responsibility may exist and how to prioritize and implement a set of prudent best practices to eliminate the gaps. This is reflected by my Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst(R) designation and my role as an adjunct faculty member with fi360 in Pittsburgh. Our Fiduciary Services team acts as the business CFO to a retirement plan and helps monitor the activities of the other service providers.
Cornerstone obtained its CEFEX Certification in 2010. Annually, CEFEX has an independent fiduciary analyst review our investment process and practices against best practices to ensure that we implement and monitor a legally sound, prudent investment process for our clients.
